Having trouble getting installed on Windows 2008 R2 server

description

I was able to install it fine on my Windows 7 workstation. However, when I put it on Windows 2008r2 server running SSIS it doesn't appear in VS. I copied the DLL to the correct location and ran the powershell script with correct path to the DLL which completed successfully. However, when I open the package on the server it doesn't recognize the task.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Eric

Do you use SSDT 2012?

if you still use the 2008 version, please consider this version https://ssisreportgenerator.codeplex.com/releases/view/77594
is more appropriate to your needs.

In that case ( if you still use SQL Server 2008)is enough to drag & drop the .dll (after you copy it ... ) to the c:\windows\assembly to register it to GAC.

We are running SQL 2012 on Windows 2008R2.
